2020
See Sea was born. We began attending pop-up events across Southern California, selling exclusively handmade jewelry crafted from 925 sterling silver and plated with 18k yellow, white, or rose gold.
2022
While our pop-up events continued throughout Southern California, the popularity of our dainty, minimalist, and uniquely designed pieces caught the attention of many. In response to growing demand, See Sea opened its first brick-and-mortar store in Santa Monica, a popular destination for millions of tourists each year. This marked a new chapter, allowing us to introduce See Sea to even more people across the U.S. and around the world.
2023
After personally engaging with over 20,000 customers, the owners recognized a common concern: 925 sterling silver, while semi-precious and more resistant to tarnishing than brass or copper, is relatively soft and prone to bending or breaking over time. Listening to our customers’ feedback, we made a bold decision to change our materials. See Sea transitioned from sterling silver to surgical-grade stainless steel, which is hypoallergenic, tarnish-free, and physically stronger, offering superior resistance to bending and damage.

We also upgraded our plating process with cutting-edge PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) technology. PVD creates a finish that is 10 times tougher than traditional gold plating, utilizing titanium nitride to provide an exceptionally durable, corrosion-resistant coating. Now, our customers can wear See Sea jewelry throughout their daily activities—whether at the gym, swimming, or enjoying the beach—without worrying about fading or color changes.
2024
Loved by customers and influencers alike, we introduced our fine 14k gold jewelry collection. This range includes timeless favorites adorned with a selection of precious gemstones such as diamonds, sapphires, emeralds, opals, topaz, and more.
Today
See Sea has grown to 4 stores across Southern California, with plans to open additional locations in 2025 and 2026. As we continue to grow, we remain committed to listening to our customers, always striving to improve and evolve in every possible way.
